Now, I want to see it pronto! I love Gambit... love him. I've been disappointed by his being left out of the other X-Men films. So glad to see he's finally getting some much deserved love. I think they've done an amazing job with powers that could have potentially looked really dorky (magenta glowing light and playing cards). The scenes with his staff gave me chills, and even the scene where he seems to telekinetically make the cards arc behind him was incredible. I’m pretty excited about the movie in general, though more about Hugh Jackman than Wolverine persay. ^_^

When I saw the Trailer and just could catch a glimpse of him at a poker table that was-.... arrr, I watched it after that numerous times. But just like you the outfit surprises me... but even more the eyes. I mean, really, Gambit without black-red eyes? I'm skeptical but hey, I wait until I watched the movie before judging :) Hope everything is understandable. I didn't look up some phrases so I just hope they are right.
