		<description>I think that Gambit is one of the most interesting characters (probably why he is my favorite) because of how little he reveals of himself.  I think that while most of who we are is a reflection of what others see in us, it is important to remember that we still can write our own lines.</description>

		<description>One of the aspects of Gambit that I always found interesting during this era was how so much of his character was revealed through the words (and biases) of other characters, both from his past... and his alleged future!

I got the sense that he'd maybe been haunted by his history on other occasions in the past, but had always shrugged them off and "made no apologies."  But now, the more time he spent with the X-Men, the more he finally had something he was truly afraid of losing!</description>
